I also enjoyed the epilogue, and how it tied back to the author's previously released series, which is a 'sister series' to this one.

🖤 I made a media kit after I had some bookstagrammers reach out (it's a pdf in my b-i-o, with all my info, so feel free to grab it)

🖤 I made four book cover mock-ups — prequel novella, and bks one to three. And I love them!

🖤 I decided that I prefer writing the ending first. I also did this with A Curse Forged in Fate (my novella in Bewitched Blooms). Apparently that's how I like to write now, so I'm sticking with it 😆

🖤 I've been doing lots of craft reading (about the heroines journey, tension & conflict, plot structure, and how to write a series)

🖤 I've been looking into pricing and inclusions for pre-order book boxes — I'm thinking things like art, stickers, bookmarks, enamel pins, and, of course, a book

🖤 Oh, I almost forgot this one — I also sent my very first ARCs, and felt ALL the feels about it. My emotions pretty much swung from 'I feel like I'm going to 🤮' to 'I'm so excited I could 💃'. Now, I'm more at the 'it is what it is 🤷‍♀️' stage

This book had me feeling all the feels! It was the perfect way to finish this duet, especially with the beautiful ending that had me in tears.

I loved the plot twists, meddling gods, gritty pirates and mercenaries, epic battles, tender reunions, magic, trauma healing, and steamy romance.

I cannot wait for this to come out on audio, because I know I'll need to re-read it, to experience Jane and Soren's epic journey again, and the narrators were incredible for book one!

This is the book I didn't know I needed!

In the main Everlands Cycle books, I really disliked Liv, and fairly equally loathed her and was intrigued by her, but her backstory in this novella made me feel so much, especially with all the mysogynistic BS that she had to deal with (soooo relatabe!), and it's completely changed how I feel about her.

I adored the delicious sapphic spice, feminine rage, court intrigue, diversity, and how lots of questions were answered.

Perfect if you love WLW with spice, and a woman finding her way in an epic fantasy world.

This is not the post I expected to make today, and I'm struggling to find words, because even though I didn't 'meet' Zoë, I feel as if I knew her, and connected with her through my work for the Bewitched Blooms anthology.

It's with a heavy heart that I write this, but Zoë passed after her short, but courageous, battle with Stage 4 colorectal cancer.

She had regular cancer screens, including for colon cancer, but it wasn't found until recently, when she felt something wasn't right, so got a second opinion.

Zoë left us with a very important message, that I'd like to share here — "If you have persistent symptoms, keep insisting on further testing in order to get accurate answers from a doctor."

The Bewitched Blooms anthology will still be going ahead, in loving memory of Zoë, with all proceeds going to Zoë's family, her chosen cancer charity, and the health centre that cared for Zoë during her final days.
